The hall is licensed under the Licensing Act 2003 for public entertainment, theatre, cinema and sale of alcohol.
The hall is situated adjacent to the river in the centre of the historic market town of Bradford on Avon in Wiltshire.

The hall was built in the late eighteenth century as a specialist dyers house. It became a cinema in 1904 and more recently a community hall.
In June 2003 the Town Council offices were installed in the ancillary rooms of the hall with a small extension and the kitchen facilities at the Hall were much improved.
Standard Rate - £37 (Inc Vat) per hour (min 3 hrs) to including: Green room as a dressing room, Projection room, Lighting rig and PA system
Day rate (for all non-local hirers) - £255 (Inc VAT) for 8 hours between 08:00 - 18:00 (then £37 per additional hour - no local discount)
Exercise classes - £25.50 (Inc VAT) per hour for classes held weekday mornings between 9.00 - 14.00 hrs when no duty manager is required and at the Council office discretion
Kitchen Hire - £25 (Inc VAT) per session, including crockery or £50 (Inc VAT) per session when used for food preparation & service using cooker & hot cupboards
Green Room - If the Green Room is hired separately from the Main Hall booking the hire charge is £12 per hour Inc Vat (the green room is subject to availability and is only accessible by three flights of stairs)
Council Meeting Room - Available to hire subject to availability at £18 per hour Inc Vat
Community Rate - £29 (Inc VAT) There is a discounted rate for local Bradford on Avon council tax payers, local non-profit making and non-fundraising organisations (not applicable to exercise classes). A copy of your latest council tax bill will be required.

There is a surcharge of 60% for bookings on Bank Holidays and New Year's Eve.
A non-returnable deposit of 25% of the hire fee is payable at the time of booking, and the balance must be paid two weeks before the event
When a cancellation of a booking is received in writing, a refund (less deposit) will be made as follows:
a) Up to 28 days in advance 75% refund - 25% payable
b) 27 - 21 days in advance 75% refund
c) 20 - 14 days in advance 50% refund
d) 13 - 7 days in advance 15% refund
e) 6 days before due date No refund
Business rate: For all companies - for meetings, seminars, conferences, trade fairs or where there is personal monetary gain from the hire.
Standard rate: Applies to all one-off hires, eg weddings receptions, dances, dinners, receptions, fund-raising events, bazaars, etc.
Concessionary rate: Applies to all LOCAL Non Profit-Making Non Fund-Raising groups and voluntary groups from the town using the venue for meetings, gatherings, etc where funds are not being directly raised.
For £125 you could have your name, your company name, a dedication to a loved one or a remembrance of someone special, inscribed on a plaque on one of the 190 seats in the newly refurbished hall, for the next 10 years.
