Bradford on Avon has more than 750 years of industrial history. In that time the town has had its ups and downs as it moved from producing some of the best wool in Europe to pioneering the English rubber industry and redefining the art of cycle-making. In the past 20 years we’ve seen more dramatic change.
However, we now have a fantastic and growing business community, based on the use of advanced technologies as much as on the more traditional tourism and retail sectors. And we’re still producing world leaders in a range of fields.
To celebrate this – and to give ourselves an opportunity to know who we all are – the Town Council has great pleasure in inviting you to our first Bradford on Avon Business Forum, at 6pm on Wednesday 22nd October in St Margaret’s Hall.
We will be introducing you to some of our larger and smaller businesses, and giving everyone the opportunity to meet each other over a glass of wine.
Please RSVP by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
If you have a success story to share, please let us know when you RSVP and we will include it in the evening.
I hope you will be able to come along and help celebrate the spirit of enterprise and innovation that is alive and well in this great town of ours.
Cllr John Potter
