Temporary Closure of: UC Blackberry Lane and C237 (Part) Conkwell / Warleigh Lane,
Winsley and Monkton Farleigh (Ref: TTRO 4159)
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to
all traffic:
UC Blackberry Lane, Winsley; from its junction with B3108 Winsley Hill to its junction with
C237 Conkwell.
C237 (Part) Conkwell / Warleigh Lane, Winsley and Monkton Farleigh; from its junction with
Blackberry Lane to the county boundary.
To enable: Wiltshire Council to carry out kerbing, carriageway resurfacing / patching work,
road marking and adjustment of ironworks.
Alternative route:
Via C237 Warleigh Lane to Bathford – A363 Sally In The Wood – C238 Ashley Green –
C238 Ashley Lane – B3108 Winsley Bypass / Winsley Hill and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 18 March 2016 and it is anticipated that the closure
will be required daily between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00 for four days. It is anticipated
that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.
Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the
nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
