Temporary Closure of: Ashley Road (Part), Ashley Green (Part) and Hartley (Part),
Winsley and Bradford on Avon (Ref: TTRO 4339)
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to
all traffic:
a) Ashley Road (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with The Old Batch to its
junction with Ashley Green.
b) Ashley Green (Part), Winsley; from its junction with Ashley Road to its junction with
Haugh / Hartley.
c) Hartley (Part), Winsley; from its junction with Ashley Green to its junction with B3108
Winsley Bypass.
To enable: Wiltshire Council to carry out kerbing, carriageway resurfacing / patching work,
road marking and adjustment of ironworks.
Alternative route: via Ashley Road (unaffected length) – A363 Bath Road – B3108 Winsley
Road / Winsley Bypass and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
The Order which previously came into operation on 24 March 2016 will now recommence on
2 July 2016 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 3 July 2016. It is
anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather
conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are
likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
