Domestic Heat Project: Save Fuel, Save the Planet

Thursday, 29 September 2022
From 7pm in St Margaret’s Hall
Free entry

Following the success of the previous Domestic Heat Project event in March – Bradford on Avon Town Council has organised another event as part of the Great Big Green Week.

During the event, representatives from CHEESE, AsBuilt, Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE), Wiltshire Council, Selwood Housing, Green Gauge, BOATC and Climate Friendly, as well as residents’ case studies of fuel-saving and carbon-footprint reduction projects.

Retrofitting existing homes with sustainable and fuel-saving measures is a complicated and potentially expensive process. It is very difficult to find what your home needs, what the most important first steps are and what has maximum impact for minimum cost.

With these events, the Town Council hopes to start conversations to help residents better understand what can be done.

We hope to announce candidates for Bradford on Avon Town Council subsidised heat loss surveys and explain what these can do for your property.

This event is free but ticketed, to let us know you are coming to the Domestic Heating Project please SIGN UP HERE.
