BOA Cycling Festival Hill Climb

Price: £Adult: £7.50 + Eventbrite fees Under 14s: £3.50 + Eventbrite fees

At this year’s BOA Cycling Festival we hope to see more people take part and challenge themselves on the hill climb. So why not encourage your friends and family to take part or come and cheer you on?

The ‘Mini’ Hill climb is open for all our younger riders (under 14), and is a quick 200m dash from the Swan pub to the corner of Mason’s lane. There will be prizes for all our younger riders.

The Full Hill Climb starts at the Swan Hotel and continues around the bend up to the Castle Inn, where you will be greeted with a rapturous round of applause and a pint of Hill Climb ale for your efforts!

In 2018 we saw the Hill Climb set new highs, with a record number of entrants from all age groups gearing up to give it a go. We had a new record set for the Hill Climb of 53.44 seconds by Andrew Feather, who went on to be the National Hill Climb Champion!

This is certainly not an event to be underestimated; some have said that it looks easy but when they have given it a go, they are surprised at how challenging it is!
