Castle Combe Circular Guided Walk

Price: £ Free

Looking for a walking challenge this year where you would get to meet like-minded people and see fantastic places on the Cotswold Way?
The trail is 102 miles (164 km) long and runs for most of its length on the Cotswold escarpment. With fantastic views, the route passes through many picturesque villages and runs close to a significant number of historic sites, for example the Roman Hermitage at Bath, the Neolithic burial chamber at Belas Knap, Sudeley Castle near Winchcombe, Hailes Abbey and many other beautiful churches and historic houses. This guided walk (in 10 managed stages of around 10 miles each) is led by the Cotswold Voluntary Wardens and starts at Chipping Campden. Each month the group will walk each stage in the southerly direction towards the finishing point in Bath. The adventure starts in May 2022 and finishes in February 2023, on the first Saturday of each of the ten months.

The Group meets at Cold Ashton Village Hall car park for a coach trip to each start point for that day and is then picked up at the finish of the walk to be taken back to Cold Ashton. Places are still available but do hurry to book as they will go fast.
