No Time To Waste

An evening looking at waste. How to create less of it, what happens to it, and what we can all do to help – whether at home, work or in our communities.

The average household in the UK produces more than a tonne of waste every year. Put together, this comes to a total of 31 million tonnes per year, equivalent to the weight of three and a half million double-decker buses, a queue of which would go around the world two and a half times.

Whilst recycling is part of the solution, there are a lot more things we can all do to reduce waste and re-use materials in favour of more sustainable lifestyles.
