Price: £ Free

BoA Fairtrade  Festive Christmas Cake.
As part of Bradford-On-Avon’s Christmas Lights Switch on which will take place on Friday 26th November between 4.00 and 8.30 pm the BoA Fairtrade Group supported by the staff of the Co-op BoA Bridge Yard look forward to seeing you at the store to discuss all things Fairtrade, encourage you to make a Fairtrade pledge which will be displayed in-store as well as viewing the Fairtrade ingredients available to purchase at your local Co-op and last but not least to hopefully inspire those yet to make their Christmas cake to include Fairtrade ingredients.

So, it’s not too late to bake….Our cake named ‘ Frosty ‘was made by a member of the BoA Fairtrade group who followed the easy recipe which has been developed and used for many years by Maureen Breeze the Co-op Pioneer for Bradford on Avon, Trowbridge and Norton St Phillip before it was expertly decorated by Maureen and Shirley Llewellyn a staff member at the Bridge Yard store is already on display along with the ingredients required and copies of the recipe to pick up.

There will be an opportunity to win this delicious, wonderful creation as the cake will be donated to The Hub to be raffled at their Christmas Coffee morning to be held on Friday 10th December.

Choosing Fairtrade is a simple way to make a difference in the lives of people who grow and produce the things we love, making trade fair. For shoppers, it means high quality, ethically produced products.
