Notice re: Bath’s Cleveland Bridge closure

Statement from Mayor of Bradford on Avon, Cllr Sarah Gibson:

“Please be aware that from  the 28th June for at least 5 weeks the Cleveland Bridge in Bath will be closed to all traffic.  This means that diversion routes will be in place to allow vehicles to cross the river between the A36 to the south and the A4 and M4 to the north.

Wiltshire Council Highways will place signage to try and deter motorists from using Bradford on Avon as a diversion. However this closure may push more traffic through the town, so it is worth considering other means of transport for that period.”
