Platinum Jubilee in Bradford on Avon

Bradford on Avon Town Council is hosting a wide range of fun, historical and community events to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee.

In less than two months Her Majesty The Queen will begin the official Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Communities across the UK will come together to recognise Queen Elizabeth II’s noble service – Bradford on Avon is no different.

The milestone will be marked by a four day bank holiday between Thursday, 2 June and Sunday, 5 June, with events on every day.

From Thursday until Saturday, the Town Council – supported by the Bradford on Avon Preservation Trust – will host an exhibition showcasing the changing face of Bradford on Avon over the last seven decades.

There will also be a traditional sweet shop stall and a bookshop stocked with books on the town’s history.

The Town Council will be providing a free shuttle service on Saturday, 4 June. The shuttle will operate between 1.30pm and 9pm and will leave from the Westbury Garden bus stop.

Below is a list of events in and around the town during the Platinum Jubilee weekend:
