We hosted a drop-in Business Forum on Tuesday 18 July. The event was led by Cognisant Research.

Thanks to the more than 30 local businesses who came out and gave comments and ideas on business development in the town.

If you couldn’t make it, you can find the slides and questionnaire on our business page. We’ll keep the questionnaire up until Friday 29 July.

We’ll post the questionnaire’s results once the Cognisant Research report is finalised.

Councillor Katie Vigar, Mayor of Bradford on Avon said: “We all know that it is a difficult time for businesses, especially our town centre shops.

“Alongside some of the specific initiatives the town council has taken, we wanted a strategic view of how as a town we can ensure our businesses thrive into the future.

“This forum was a first step and I look forward to reading the report and to seeing how businesses and the town council can work together for the benefit of our local economy.”

Wiltshire Growth Hub, who were there to offer support and advice to businesses, said they will follow up their discussions.

They added that other local businesses are welcome to contact them.
