Notice of restrictions to various roads – social distancing scheme

Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Urgent various temporary restrictions; A363 Market Street & B3107 Silver Street/Woolley Street/Whitehill, Bradford on Avon

WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 17 August 2020, the following temporary restrictions will come into force on the following lengths of road in the interests of public safety to facilitate social distancing measures:

Temporary Suspension of existing Parking Monday – Saturday 8am – 6pm 1 hour, no return within 2 hours restriction and temporary extension of No Waiting at Any Time restriction:

A363 Market Street, Bradford on Avon; east side – from a point approximately 40m north of its junction with Church Street for approximately 10m in a northerly direction.

Temporary Suspension of existing Parking Monday – Saturday 8am – 6pm 1 hour, no return within 1 hour restriction and temporary extension of No Waiting at Any Time restriction:

B3109 Mount Pleasant, Bradford on Avon; south side of the carriageway from its eastern boundary with no.4 for a distance of approximately 10m in a westerly direction.

Temporary Prohibition of Entry:
Whitehill, Bradford on Avon; from its junction with Mount Pleasant for its entirety in a southerly direction.

Temporary Introduction of One-Way Traffic Restriction:

B3107 Woolley Street, Bradford on Avon; from its junction with Mill Lane westbound to its junction with B3107 Silver Street.

B3107 Silver Street, Bradford on Avon; from its junction with B3107 Woolley Street westbound to its junction with A363 Market Street.

A363 Market Street, Bradford on Avon; from its junction with B3107 Silver Street westbound to its junction with A363 Masons Lane.

Temporary Suspension of Prohibition of Right Turn Restriction:

Woolley Street, Bradford on Avon; from its junction with B3107 Holt Road from an easterly direction.

Advisory cycle lane: Mill Lane (contra-flow). – see 2nd map below

The restrictions will be clearly indicated by traffic signs and road markings.

The suspension and restrictions will come into force on 17 August 2020 and is anticipated to be required for 21 days . This Notice will have a maximum duration of 21 days.
