Bradford on Avon Town Council

Have your say on plans for new Community Pavilion to be unveiled in public exhibitions

BRADFORD on Avon Town Council is inviting local people to view new plans for a multi-use Community Pavilion in Culver Close.

In September 2021, the Town Council consulted with the public and user groups to shape the Community Pavilion at Culver Close designed by Frome-based firm NVB Architects.

The exhibitions will take place at the current Pavilion in Culver Close where the public will be able to comment on the plans.

The architects presented the plans to councillors and members of the public at the Town Development Committee meeting on Tuesday, 22 March.

After rigorous debate councillors unanimously agreed to accept the designs and to begin a series of public exhibitions.

Dozens of local people attended the first exhibitions Friday, 25 March and Saturday, 26 March.

A second set of public exhibitions is planned for Friday, 8 April and Saturday, 9 April.

The Town Council is running these events to give the public opportunity to view the architect’s Community Pavilion proposals.

At the next Town Development Committee meeting on Tuesday, 10 May, councillors will discuss the plans further.
