2. THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (BRADFORD ON AVON) (PROHIBITION AND
RESTRICTION OF WAITING, TAXI RANK CLEARWAYS AND ON STREET
PARKING) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2010 (AMENDMENT NO.8) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above
Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Order 2 under the Traffic
Management Act 2004 the effect of which is as follows:

Order 1
To introduce one way traffic on the following length of road:
Bridge Yard – from its junction with Silver Street to its junction with Kingston Road permitting travel from Silver Street to Kingston Road

Order 2
To introduce the following restrictions in the Bradford on Avon Consolidation Order 2010 by revoking Map Schedule Nos. EJ20 and EJ21 dated 9th August 2010 and replacing them with the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos. EJ20 and EJ21 the effect of which will be as follows:

a) To introduce No Waiting at any time on the following lengths of roads:
Bridge Yard – west side – from its junction with Silver Street for a distance of 5 metres in a southerly direction
Bridge Yard – west side – from a point 31 metres south of its junction with Silver Street for a distance of 47 metres in a southerly direction
Bridge Yard – west side – from a point 2 metres south of the northern boundary of property Nos. 18 to 25 Bridge Yard for a distance of 21 metres in a southerly direction
Bridge Yard – east side – from its junction with Silver Street for a distance of 21 metres in a southerly direction
Bridge Yard – east and north side – from a point 36 metres south of its junction with Silver Street for a distance of 154 metres in a southerly then easterly direction
Bridge Yard – south side – from a point 7 metres east of the western boundary of property Nos. 1 to 8 Norden for a distance of 38 metres in an easterly direction
Bridge Yard – south side – from its junction with Kingston Road for a distance of 11 metres in a Westerly direction
Bridge Yard – north side – from its junction with Kingston Road for a distance of 30 metres in a westerly direction
Kingston Road – west side – from a point 3 metres south of its junction with Bridge Yard to a point 44 metres north of that junction
Kingston Road – east side – from its junction with Mill Lane for a distance of 41 metres in a southerly direction
Lamb Yard – both sides – from its junction with Bridge Yard for a distance of 5 metres in a westerly direction
Norden – both sides – from its junction with Bridge Yard for a distance of 5 metres in a southerly direction
b) To introduce Parking Monday to Saturday 7am-6pm 1 hour No return within 1 hour on the following lengths of road:
Bridge Yard – west side – at a point adjacent to property Nos. 18 to 25 Bridge Yard
Bridge Yard – east side – from a point 1 metres north of the boundary of property Nos. 2 to 4 Bridge Yard for a distance of 4 metres in a northerly direction
c) To introduce Parking Monday to Saturday 7am-6pm 30 minutes No return within 1 hour on the following length of road:
Bridge Yard – west side – from a point 2 metres south of the northern boundary of property Nos. 38 to 42 for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction
d) To introduce Parking Monday to Saturday 8am-6pm 2 hours No return within 2 hours on the following lengths of road:
Bridge Yard – north side – adjacent property Nos. 28 to 54 Grist Court for a distance of 9 metres
Bridge Yard – south side – adjacent property Nos. 32 to 36 Norden for a distance of 7 metres
e) To introduce Parking Monday to Saturday 8am-6pm 1 hour No return within 1 hour on the following lengths of road:

Kingston Road – west side – from a point adjacent the northern boundary of property Nos. 25 to 30 Kingston Road for a distance of 16 metres in a southerly direction
Kingston Road – west side – from a point 7 metres north of the northern boundary of property No.6 Kingston Road for a distance of 14 metres in a southerly direction

Deposit copies of the Orders, plans and Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing to make the Orders may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Bradford on Avon Library, Bridge Street, Bradford on Avon during the hours of 10am to 7pm Monday, 9.30am to 5pm Wednesday and Friday, 9.30am to 7pm Thursday and 9.30am to 4pm Saturday until 10th July 2017.
