We’re pleased to announce that new play equipment will be being installed at the Sladesbrook Play Area from 25th June.
The Colonel William Llewellen Palmer Educational Charity, which is now administered and run by the Town Council, recently inherited the area in a poor state of repair and resolved to make well overdue improvements.
Of course, there will be some inconvenience caused whilst the works go ahead, but as one of the CWLPC trustees Cllr Simon McNeill-Ritchie points out;
“We’ve given clear instruction that the installation takes place now, with a view to works being completed in time for the town’s children to enjoy the fabulous new equipment during the summer holidays!”
