Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Temporary Closure of: B3108 Winsley Bypass (Part), Winsley (Ref: TTRO 6305)
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:
B3108 Winsley Bypass (Part), Winsley; from its junction with Hartley to its junction with Winsley Road.
To enable: Tarmac to carry out carriageway hand patching and associated maintenance works.
Alternative route: via B3108 (unaffected length) – A363 – B3109 – B3107 – B3105 – B3106 – Elizabeth Way – A361 – A36 and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 13 December 2019 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 0:00 until 14 December 2019 between the hours of 19:00 and 00:00 It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
