THE RESIDENTS’ PANEL
The Residents’ Panel is a panel of 100 people aged 16 and over who live in Bradford on Avon.
Each year, we ask the panel to complete surveys asking questions about the things we do in the town. We sometimes ask questions about projects that might happen in the future, as well.
We do this to gauge community opinion, helping us to improve:
- what we do
- how we work
- how we support and engage the town.
Surveying the people on the panel is just 1 of the ways in which we ask for the town’s opinions and views on what we do.
HOW Were people chosen to be on THE PANEL?
There was an application process at the end of 2021.
131 residents aged 16 and over applied to be on the panel.
In January 2022, an independent company – Cognisant Research – selected 100 panellists based on the applications that were sent in.
Panellists were selected to broadly represent the town’s demographics (based on the data and information of the 2011 census)
