Statement on Becky Addy Wood

A statement from Bradford on Avon Town Council:

Following the High Court’s decision to impose a temporary injunction, the Town Council has halted tree safety work in Becky Addy Wood.

The temporary injunction was granted on a ‘without notice basis’ and the Town Council was not represented in court. 

The Town Council’s primary responsibility as a landowner is public safety and the health of Becky Addy Wood in the long term.

We are looking forward to defending our sensitive approach to the management of Becky Addy Wood.

Bradford on Avon Town Council will not make any further comments.
