Notice of temp closure of various sections of A363, Bradford on Avon

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Temporary Closure of: Various Roads, Bradford on Avon (Ref: TTRO 6589)

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:

A363 St Margarts Street (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with A363 Frome Road for a distance of approximately 200 metres in a northerly direction;

A363 St Margarts Street (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with A363 Frome Road to its junction with St Margarts Hill;

A363 Frome Road (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with A363 St Margarets Street for a distance of approximately 150 metres in a southerly direction;

Station Approach (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with A363 Frome Road for a distance of approximately 50 metres in a westerly direction.

To enable: Ringway to carry out carriageway resurfacing works
Alternative route: via A363 (unaffected length) – A361 – Elizabeth Way – B3106 – B3105

and vice versa.

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

This Order will come into operation on 07 July 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 18:00 and 00:00 until 10 July 2020. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the

nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
