The town council currently employs 26 members of staff (or officers).
Together, the officers ensure the day to day running of the town council, including the delivery of town council services and functions.
The Town Warden team is about and out every day – including weekends and Bank Holidays. They work across the town in all the spaces and places that we look after.
Most of the other officers are based at the town council’s Kingston House office in the town centre.
Some events and projects will see officers working in St Margaret’s Hall and the Youth & Community Centre some of the time, too.
