BOA Youth Deputy Coordinator

Do you enjoy working with children and young people and have plenty of energy?

We’re looking for a confident individual who’s passionate about engaging with and supporting local young people to join the BOA Youth team.

Business Support Officer

We’re looking for a friendly, helpful and professional Business Support Officer to join our team.

You’ll be the first person that people meet when they come to our office – playing a key role in helping people on the phone and replying to emails.

You’ll also be focusing on the wide range of projects, services and work we’re involved with.

You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills in all forms of communication, especially in person and on the telephone. You’ll also have a keen eye for detail – and be able to work accurately and efficiently, even under pressure.

Experience and/or knowledge of financial systems, accounting and Excel desirable. Job share considered.

Venues & Facilities Officer

We’re looking for a knowledgeable and professional Venues & Facilities Officer to join our team.

We believe that events help bring the community together and fosters lasting memories for residents and visitors alike.

We manage a host of venues, buildings and facilities in the town. This includes St Margaret’s Hall, our Youth & Community Centre and public toilets.

You’ll play a key role in helping to manage these facilities – ensuring they’re well looked after.

Volunteering Opportunities

There are lots of volunteering opportunities in the town.

For instance, we’d love to hear from you if you’re looking for an interesting role where you can chat about our fantastic town and help others to explore Bradford on Avon.

Find out more about joining the Explore BOA team in the Tourist Information Centre. We’d especially like to hear from people who would be able to volunteer some time on Saturdays and Sundays.

We’re also looking for keen tennis players to support tennis in the town by becoming an LTA-trained Tennis Activator.

And, if you’re interested in supporting the town’s young people, our thriving Tuesday youth club, is looking for enthusiastic volunteers.
