Committees and meetings happen throughout the year. They usually take place on Tuesday evenings.
These meetings take place in St Margaret’s Hall with the exception of Resources committee meetings which will take place at Kingston House.
Meetings start at 7pm. Please note that members of the public will only be allowed to enter from 6.55pm.
Across the year we have Full Council and committee meetings including Environment & Green Spaces, Community & Wellbeing, Sustainable Development & Travel and Resources.
We welcome the public to attend our meetings. The press and public can speak for up to 2 minutes during public questions portion of meetings.
If you wish to speak, please let us know ahead of time or before the meeting starts. Ideally, please send us any supporting documents before the meeting.

Committee restructure
For the 2026/27 civic year, councillors agreed to restructure the committee system, creating the Sustainable Development & Travel Committee to replace the former Sustainable Travel and Town Development committees.
