Since it was first set up in 2022, the Residents’ Panel has played an important role in shaping our projects and daily work.
The original panel was made up of 100 residents chosen to broadly reflect the community of Bradford on Avon – based on the 2011 census.
Each year, the panel is invited to complete surveys asking questions about the things we do in the town. We sometimes ask questions about projects that might happen in the future, as well.
We do this to gauge community opinion, helping us to improve:
- what we do
- how we work
- how we support and engage the town.
Surveying the people on the panel is just one of the ways in which we ask for the town’s opinions and views on what we do.
Building on the success of the panel, we’re now opening up the membership to bring in more voices. To be eligible to join the panel you simply need to be over 16 years old and live in Bradford on Avon.
The next survey is planned for November 2025, so now is the perfect time to sign up.
