Bearfield is a park alongside Ashley Road in the northwest of the town, where a kissing gate leads to the countryside beyond.
How we manage Bearfield
We keep the football pitch and play area neatly mowed so the grass is short and ready for play.
In the rest of Bearfield, we encourage natural beauty with wildflower meadows, orchard trees and native trees and hedges that blend into the nearby woodland.

Getting here
The main entrance into Bearfield on foot and bike is via Ashley Road.
It’s about a 20 minute walk from the town center via Conigre Hill.
The closest bus stop is at Huntingdon Rise, directly opposite the park. Please note, there’s no nearby car park and only very limited street parking.
