BOA Youth is the youth service for Bradford on Avon which primarily runs out of the Youth & Community Centre on Frome Road.
In April 2024, we took over the management of the service from Community Family Care and now have a dedicated BOA Youth Team who run various youth sessions.
Youth Club
BOA Youth run a weekly club for 8 to 12 year olds every Tuesday from 5pm to 7pm at the Youth & Community Centre. The club runs throughout the year with the exception of a 2 week break over the Christmas holidays.
The sessions are child-led with the flexible space enabling a variety of activities during each session, including gaming, cooking, arts and crafts, table football, sports, games and outdoor play.
Drinks and snacks are available and if children are keen to cook (and we have all the ingredients), a light dinner is also sometimes provided.
The club is free to attend but a suggested donation of £1 per session is gratefully received.
Our BOA Youth team is grateful for donations from club members, which help us buy cooking ingredients, play equipment, art materials and more.
We have set up an Amazon wish list to help keep BOA Youth thriving with arts & crafts supplies, games, and other fun things. If you’re able to help, simply select the BOA Youth delivery option at checkout.
Parents/guardians will be asked to complete a registration form, when their child/children first attend a session.
Volunteer
Our Tuesday sessions are going from strength to strength and we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support the team.
Volunteers can get involved in all sorts of activities, from arts and crafts to cooking and games.
If you’re interested in supporting this fantastic free resource for the town’s young people, the team will be delighted to welcome you along to a session so you can see what it’s all about.

Teen drop-ins
Every Monday and Thursday afternoon we open our doors at the Youth & Community Centre to young people aged 11+ offering a safe space for young people to hang out.
From 3pm to 6pm on Mondays and 3pm to 8.30pm on Thursdays, young people are free to come along at any time and stay for as long or as little as they like.
We have table football, a pool table, table tennis (if requested), gaming and arts and crafts to enjoy, or they can simply come along to relax and socialise with others.
Free drinks and snacks are available. Plus, we provide helpful info on local services.
The club is free to attend but a suggested donation of £1 per session is gratefully received.
At the first session they attend, one of our youth team will ask the young person to complete a registration form so that they have emergency contact details as well as a record of any allergies, medical conditions or disabilities they need to be aware of.
