Situated next to the River Avon and historic Town Bridge, Westbury Garden is a beautiful space in the heart of the town.
Westbury Garden is our most formal park home to mature trees, including a huge London Plane and a Copper Beech.
There is space to picnic on the grass or benches. It is also a venue for community events. With the town’s war memorial, it hosts the remembrance day service.
Getting Here
There are a few ways to get to Westbury Garden on foot or by bike:
- from St Margaret’s Street (near the Town Bridge)
- from St Margaret’s car park.
The nearest bus stop is just outside the park, with another conveniently located across the road on Bridge Street.
The nearest car parks are the St Margaret’s car park a short walk from the green space and the Bridge Street (library) car park which can found across the road. Both of these car parks are pay and display – please note that the Bridge Street car park does not accept cash or card payments.
