Domestic Heating Project

The first Domestic Heating Project was launched by the Town Council in March 2022. Bradford on Avon Town Council organised the event to help give local people advice to reduce fuel waste and improve heating efficiency in their homes.

The event featured expert speakers in domestic heating, and was also used to launch the Climate Friendly Bradford on Avon energy survey. From those who completed the survey, six would be chosen to receive subsidised heat tracing surveys of their homes.

Following the success of the previous event in March another was organised as part of Great Big Green Week 2022.

Attendees had the opportunity to speak with housing and heating experts, as well as a chance to look at case studies of fuel-saving and carbon-footprint reduction projects.

The winners of the Bradford on Avon Town Council subsidised heat loss surveys were announced at the event.
