Join us on Easter Saturday (19 April) for an afternoon of fun at the Poulton Park Fun Dog Show & Spring Fete!
We’re hosting this fantastic new event to raise funds for the next phase of improvements at Poulton play area.
The dog show will feature a variety of fun classes, including Golden Oldie, Best Pedigree, Dog That Looks Most Like Its Owner and Best Trick.
Alongside the dog show, there’ll be plenty of traditional fete activities, games, and stalls — including a tombola, toy and plant stalls, and, of course, tea and cake!
We all think our own fur babies are the best, but what does the rest of the town think?
As a warm-up to the main event, we’re launching the BOA’s Top Dog competition with support from local favourites, DOGHOUSE!
The winner, chosen by pawblic vote, will receive a professional doggy photoshoot courtesy of Proud Dog Pawtrait Photography.
They’ll also be automatically entered into the Best in Show category on the day.
To enter your pooch, we’re asking for a minimum donation of £3 with all the proceeds going to the Poulton Play Area project. For more information on how to enter please visit the Explore BOA website.
You have from Valentine’s Day to Monday 17 March to enter your pampered pooch in the competition.
Public voting opens on 21 March 2025, and closes on Monday 14 April.
And the winner will be crowned at our Fun Dog Show & Spring Fete on Saturday 19 April.
