Join us in planning a Spring Fair to complete Poulton play area

Children are loving the new play equipment at Poulton play area, but we need the community’s help to raise funds for the rest of the improvements. 

We’re planning a traditional spring fair and fun dog show on Saturday 19 April 2025 and we’re looking for volunteers to help plan, set up and run the activities, stalls and refreshment stands.

Ideas for activities – such as a coconut shy, tombola, face painting, and welly wanging – are all welcome!

So, far people have pledged or donated £35,719 – including matching funding from the Medlock Charitable Trust for £25,000 and £10,000 from the Colonel William Llewellen Palmer Educational Charity.
