Congratulations to Harry Webb (The Three Horseshoes) and Lianne Barnard (Bowline Communications) for winning this year’s Pancake Race — kindly supported by Bonne Maman.
We were so pleased to bring the race back to Victory Field this year – and to hold a children’s race for the very first time.
All 11 runners took on a daring dash across the field, flipping their pancakes as they went – and trying not to drop them, or face instant disqualification.
The kids usually come along to watch, but this year over 80 children from Westview & Shambles Nursery took part in two races of their own!
And as always, the fancy dress was a highlight. Alongside our winners who were dressed as a horse and the River Avon, we also had a paint palette, a chef and a rock star.
