Bradford on Avon Town Council is set to move to a new office at Kingston House on Monday, 23 May.
The decision to move out of the St Margaret’s Hall offices has not come easy, as the Town Council has been based there since 2003.
A spokesperson for the Town Council said: “The Town Council is entering a new era, having grown and gained new responsibilities, such as those taken over as part of the Community Asset Transfer.
“As a result, we have more staff and require more suitable office space.
“The move will also allow better team working within the Town Council which will, in turn, mean greater results for the people of Bradford on Avon.”
Additionally, the move will mean the Town Council has the opportunity to re-evaluate St Margaret’s Hall, including the possibility of improving the bar or adding café facilities.
