Do you want a mini Christmas tree for your business?

The 'Contractors' on behalf of BOATC shall carry out the works to provide and install a small Christmas tree and lights to my business and if requested above install a new electrical supply, flag pole and plug top to accommodate a new Christmas tree installation

The Works will start in November 2024 and be completed by the light switch on event on Friday 29 November. The 'contractor' shall not, however, be responsible for delays outside his control and not reasonably foreseeable by him/her.

In carrying out the Works the ‘contractor’ shall use all reasonable skill, care and diligence, suitable materials and comply with any higher specifications of materials or workmanship.

I acknowledge that a reasonable degree of disruption may arise out of the execution of the Works and the Contractor shall take all reasonable precautions to minimise disruption and damage.

I understand that I shall pay BOTAC
£43.00 + VAT per tree installation provided by BOATC or if requested additional amounts as laid out above, it will be valid for one year only. Payable on the following terms: Invoiced by Bradford on Avon Town Council

I understand if payment for the invoice for the above order is not received before the installation date no installation will be completed and the business will be removed from the process for future years and my installation may be removed and used for another business.

I understand once installed BOATC, my staff or I must not remove the plugin which the timer clock has been set up,
BOATC and the contractor hold no responsibility for your property if an electrical fault occurs. BOATC and the contractor hold no responsibility for the timer clock. If the plug has been tampered with or removed by the business or its staff and is required to be fixed this may come at an additional cost to the business.

Who we will share your information with:

In some cases, we may also need to pass your information on to one or more other parties to help us answer your question. Depending on your query these will include:

Town Councillors – who, when dealing with residents’ queries and unless acting in a committee or meeting are legally a separate entity.
Wiltshire Council – where your enquiry relates to a service provided by Wiltshire Council, for example Highways or Street Lighting.
We will try to inform you of the need to pass your information on when we respond to you.

The systems we use:

The Town Council uses Microsoft Office 365 and Amazon Web Services for day-to-day IT delivery and backup capabilities. In each case, we have legal agreements in place to ensure that, as far as possible, your data is held within the European Economic Area, and, in any case, that your rights and freedoms under EU and UK law have an adequate level of protection as required in law.

Where personal is shared with Town Councillors, it will normally be done via Town Council-issued email addresses through Office 365. This means that we have greater control over the security and retention of that data.
