Over the past 3 weeks pharmacies, shop assistants, the Community Emergency Volunteers, volunteer street champions and Town Council officers have come together and helped to get shopping/prescriptions/support to members of the community recommended to stay indoors.
We are so pleased that these efforts have enabled people to make the right choice and stay safe at home, with over 170 calls/emails having been dealt with so far.For Easter, pharmacies & dispensaries in the town will close for a well earned break (exc Saturday), so CEVs and officers will also be standing down over the Easter long weekend (Fri-Mon).
The Health Centre will however be open for normal opening hours on Good Friday & Easter Monday.
