Thank you everyone who joined us for the fourth Bradford on Avon Live Music Festival.
From 30 May to 1 June, venues across the town were packed with live music from local and internationally renowned artists.
The weekend kicked off with an out-of-this-world performance from The Bowie Experience – who even got an encore from an enraptured crowd.
Festival collaborators Wiltshire Music Centre curated an eclectic weekend of music, featuring performances from ex-Public Image Ltd bassist Jah Wobble & the Invaders of the Heart and viral afro-beats innovator Gasper Nali.
On Saturday, there was an electric atmosphere in Westbury Garden on Saturday, with nearly 700 people turning out to bop along throughout the day – making this our busiest festival yet. From ska to disco and country to indie, there was a mix of genres, as well as, original songs and cover versions.
The main stage was packed as the crowd eagerly awaited local favourites Retro Electro, who closed the night with a high-energy set of 1980s classics.
Elsewhere, music could be heard across the town in Lamb Yard, the Castle Inn, the Three Horseshoes, the Canal Tavern and Timbrell’s Yard.
On Sunday, Nick Langston & the Hipcats closed out the festival celebrating a century of Sinatra to a captive audience.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to our amazing sponsors – Kingstons Estate Agents, H2 Creative, Citroen Peugeot Specialist and Beswick Stone.
And the Total Letting Service for sponsoring the Sunday jazz night.
We’d also like to thank the volunteers who’ve helped organise the line-up and promote the festival – as well as the performers, venues, Town Wardens and event stewards.
And we’ll be announcing dates for next year’s festival soon.
