Tourist Information Centre finds new home at St Margaret’s Hall

We’ve reopened our Tourist Information Centre (TIC) in St Margaret’s Hall. We moved out of Westbury Garden over the summer as our lease came to an end, giving us the opportunity to take a fresh look at our stock and how we wanted to present the TIC.

Once St Margaret’s Hall was ready, we were able to move into our new home and get everything set up for visitors.

The entrance to the TIC is to the side of St Margaret’s Hall, by McKeever Bridge. Please note that it’s not through the double doors into the main hall.

The TIC informally reopened on Thursday with a small ceremony to thank everyone who helped with the move, as well as the volunteers who welcome thousands of visitors every year.

It was also a chance to launch our new photo trail, Hidden Corners, which will be available from the TIC from Monday.

The new trail encourages you to explore Bradford on Avon and see the town from a different perspective. Working with local photographers and the Preservation Trust, we’ve put together a trail featuring 16 photographs that reveal some of the town’s hidden heritage.

The trail is free and will be available from the TIC, with copies also being made available at other locations around the town soon.

We’d like to thank the Preservation Trust and Photography Group for all their hard work in helping us put the trail together.

We’ll have more information about Hidden Corners next week, including how to take part.
