We’ve got some tree work taking place in the cemetery today (Thursday 9 April) and into early next week.
This includes removing a number of conifers in poor condition. Wherever possible, we keep the material on site to reuse for paths and to create habitat.
On Monday and Tuesday (13 and 14 April), we’ll also be removing three ash trees with severe ash dieback with risks to traffic on Holt Road, opposite the cemetery. Temporary traffic lights will be in place while the work is carried out.
We plan to plant new trees in these locations next winter.
