Upcoming roadworks in and around Bradford on Avon

Pancake Race

Part of St Margaret’s Street will be closed for 5 minutes on Tuesday 13 February for our annual Pancake Race! 

The closure will last from 11am to 11.05am and will affect St Margaret’s Street from its junction with Bridge Street to where it meets Market/ Silver Street. 

Sandy Leaze

Wiltshire Council has announced that they will resurface Sandy Leaze.

Part of Sandy Leaze, from its junction with Belcombe Road to 11 Sandy Leaze, will be closed from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Friday 16 February.

ROAD TRAFFIC ORDERS

Wiltshire Council has announced a series of temporary road closures from 5 February and 8 March.

The council said: “The order, which previously came into operation on 31 July 2023 will now recommence on 5 February 2024.

“It is required to enable carriageway micro asphalt dressing and associated maintenance works. The order has a maximum duration period of 18 months.

“It is anticipated that advance signs will be deployed 2 weeks prior to the closure dates. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.”

  • Priory Close – from its junction with B3108 to its junction with Priory Park
  • Priory Park – from its junction with Priory Close for its entire length
  • Kingsfield – from its junction with Woolley Street for its entire length.

Wessex Water will be carrying out leak repairs in February.

The work will impact part of the B3107 from its junction with Market Street to its junction with Coppice Lane.

Please be aware that the work will take place from Friday 16 February and is expected to last for 3 days.

Green Lane, Turleigh

Wiltshire Council has announced that Green Lane, Turleigh will be closed from 4 March 2024. 

The closure will be for the entire road from its junction with Belcombe Road C230.

The works begin on 4 March and will take place from 9am to 3pm. This is to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out road works.
