Congratulations to Guy Crozier-Vernon of Crozier Consulting for winning this year’s Pancake Race while dressed as a glowing octopus!
This was the first year the Shrove Tuesday race was held at Victory Field, creating space for more businesses to compete and more spectators to join the fun.
All 24 runners raced across the field, flipping their pancakes at each marker – being careful not to drop them and risk disqualification.
As always, the fancy dress didn’t disappoint! Alongside our shiny octopus winner, we had a thief, cowboy, T-Rex, unicorn, a coffee sack, Sonic the Hedgehog and more.
This was Crozier Consulting’s first time entering the Pancake Race – and now their name will be added to our coveted frying pan trophy!
