Bradford on Avon Pancake Race returns with new children’s race

Entries for our much-loved annual Pancake Race (supported by Bonne Maman) are open now!

Our traditional Shrove Tuesday race returns to Victory Field this year – and it’s bigger and better than ever with an exciting new addition.

For the first time, children from Westview Day Nursery and The Shambles Nursery will be part of the event with a brand-new kids’ race, making this year’s race extra special.

The kid’s race starts at 10.30am on Victory Field – while the adult race kicks off at 11am. Posh Crepes will be on-site selling delicious crepes for hungry racers and audience members alike.

This much-loved town tradition gives local businesses the chance to have some fun and compete for bragging rights.

Businesses can enter with a minimum £10 donation per racer. All money raised for the race goes back into supporting community events in Bradford on Avon.

Fancy dress is optional, but always welcome – last year a glittering purple octopus won the race on behalf of Crozier Consulting.

Come along, take part, cheer on the racers or just enjoy the atmosphere. The winner will take home the famous frying pan trophy.

To enter the race, simply complete the form below. Entries will remain open until Monday 16 February at 2pm, so don’t miss your chance to take part.
