We’ve taken the decision to postpone the Duck Race – which is no longer happening on Easter Monday.
Firstly, we want to make sure we don’t disturb the swans currently nesting by the Town Bridge.
Added to that, the weather forecast between now and Easter Monday isn’t very good. It might be perfect for ducks, but not so much for a duck race!
We’re also concerned that the ground in Westbury Garden is too soft and wet for crowds of people and vehicles just at the moment.
The good news is we’re already working on a new date for the race. So stay tuned – and we’ll share the new date soon.
