A huge thank you to everyone who came along to this year’s packed Live Music Festival.
Over the weekend of Friday 29 May to Sunday 31 May, venues across Bradford on Avon were buzzing with live music – celebrating the incredible talent we have on our doorstep and creating a fantastic atmosphere throughout the town.
The festival got underway on Friday with brilliant launch events by festival Partner Wiltshire Music Centre and The Castle Inn – setting the tone for a fantastic weekend of music.
On Saturday, there was over 25 hours’ free live music in Westbury Garden, Lamb Yard, Timbrell’s Yard and The Castle Inn, creating a fantastic atmosphere across the town.
And Saturday night was capped off with a standout performance from Bruce Juice, the Bruce Springsteen tribute act praised by members of the E Street Band themselves. After seeing them perform, it’s easy to understand why.
Sunday brought something a little different, with our first-ever open mic showcase – featuring a vibrant mix of local artists performing covers and originals.
The afternoon then continued with a brilliant set from the Wiltshire Jazz Factory – before Sunday’s headliners The Britpop Boys brought the weekend to a memorable close with a crowd-pleasing set packed with classic hits from Blur, Oasis, Pulp and more.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to this year’s sponsors: Steve Vick International, Kingstons Estate Agents and Citroen Peugeot Specialists.
And to our strategic partners: Wiltshire Music Centre, H2 Creative and The Castle Inn.
