COUNCILLORS have agreed to continue with the Bradford on Avon Residents’ Panel.
The Residents’ Panel is a new project designed to help the Town Council listen to community views.
The panel is formed of 100 residents selected to complete surveys on Town Council activities, policies and services.
At the latest Full Council meeting (Tuesday, 8 March) it was decided that following a successful pilot survey the project will continue alongside other recommendations.
The recommendations were proposed by Town Mayor, Cllr Sarah Gibson and seconded by Cllr Jennie Parker.
Councillors agreed to begin creating, advertising and distributing an email newsletter to residents who sign up.
It was decided that panellists will be sent three surveys per year for the rest of this council administration on a variety of topics.
Additionally, more surveys may be commissioned on topics not covered in current or upcoming questionnaires if the need arises.
