About Councillor Bessant
I’ve lived in Bradford on Avon for 17 years and I was elected to the town council in 2021, following my involvement in fundraising for the new skatepark. I’m proud to call this beautiful town home, and I’m continually inspired by its passionate and engaged community. My focus as a councillor is on championing spaces and support for young people, while also ensuring the climate and ecological emergencies remain central to the town council’s decisions and actions.
