The Giving Tree makes Christmas better for others

The Giving Tree of Bradford on Avon is back in Lamb Yard for its fifth year, and what better way to get into the spirit of Christmas than by donating items to local charities helping to make life easier for those in need?

Annually, our generous local community have supported this project in the four weeks leading up to Christmas and donations have increased year on year, so the project’s co-ordinator, Chris Curtis, is hopeful that this success will continue.

The three charities you can donate to are the Hub, Bath Cats & Dogs Home and Julian House, with some of the items they are hoping for listed at the bottom of this page. The collection point will be regularly checked and emptied so there should be plenty of room in the boxes below the tree to leave your donations.

The tree will be decorated with glass ornaments specially made by Alex Compton and local school children, as well as message baubles from the Bradford on Avon Rangers, Guides and Brownies.
