At Full Council on Tuesday 7 July, Bradford on Avon town councillors agreed to object to the proposed development on Beehive Field (land off Trowbridge Road).
Councillors held a detailed debate before unanimously agreeing that the proposed development would be inappropriate on Green Belt land.
The below PDF is the town council’s response to the following proposal for outline planning permission:
Outline application (with all matters reserved except for access) for the erection of up to 224 residential dwellings (Class C3), 72-bed care home (Class C2), with sports pitch provision, country park, allotments, landscaping and open space.
Please keep in mind, the town council is a statutory consultee in the planning process, which means we are informed of all planning applications and application amendments within the town.
The town council’s response is based on the prevailing planning policies.
