Two of our biggest annual events will return later this year, with residents and visitors invited to save the dates for the BOA Fireworks Display and Christmas Lights Switch-On.
BOA Fireworks Display
The ever-popular BOA Fireworks Display will take place Sunday 1 November, from 4pm to 7pm, promising another spectacular evening for the community.
The event attracts thousands of people each year and is one of the highlights of Bradford on Avon’s events calendar. We’ll share more information closer to the event.
Christmas Lights Switch-On
The festive celebrations continue on Friday 27 November with the annual Christmas Lights Switch-On in Westbury Garden, taking place from 4pm to 8pm.
The Mayor will switch on the town’s Christmas lights at 6pm, before local favourites The Enrichments provide live entertainment to keep the celebrations going.
Visitors can also enjoy a range of festive attractions throughout the evening, including:
- a Christmas Gift Fayre in St Margaret’s Hall
- food and drink stalls in St Margaret’s Car Park
- Santa’s Grotto in St Margaret’s Hall.

We’re also inviting local businesses and makers to register their interest in having a stall at our Christmas Gift Fayre, held in St Margaret’s Hall and in St Margaret’s car park during the Christmas Lights Switch-On.
