Silver Street will be closed to traffic on Sunday 6 September to allow Wales & West Utilities to carry out reinstatement works.
The closure will affect Silver Street between Whiteheads Lane and Kingston Road.
The road is expected to be closed for one day, between 9am and midnight. The closure is being introduced to help keep the public safe while the works are carried out.
A signed diversion route will be in place via Silver Street, the A363, B3109 and B3107.
Access for residents and businesses will be maintained where possible, although some delays are expected.
